These terms govern your use of creditscopes.com. By using the site or submitting a loan request, you agree to them.

What CreditScopes is, and is not

CreditScopes is a connection service. We are not a lender, we do not broker loans, we do not make credit decisions, and we do not charge you a fee. When you submit a request we share it with lenders and lending networks who decide independently whether to offer you a loan. Any loan agreement is between you and your lender, on the lender's terms. We do not guarantee that you will receive an offer, an amount, or a rate.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18, a resident of the United States, and submit only your own true, current information. Submitting another person's information without authority is prohibited.

Costs and representative example

Our service is free to you. Lenders' rates and fees vary by lender, state, and your profile. Representative example: a $1,000 loan repaid over 12 months at 36% APR costs about $100.46 per month, $205.55 in total interest. Short-term loans can carry substantially higher effective rates; review your lender's disclosures before signing.

Authorization

By submitting a request you authorize us to share your information with lenders in our network, and you authorize those lenders to verify your information and obtain consumer reports about you as permitted by law, which may involve a credit check.

Communications

Transaction emails about your request are part of the service. Marketing email requires your opt-in and always contains an unsubscribe link. Call and SMS consent is optional and never a condition of any loan.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no scraping, no automated submissions, no attempts to probe or disrupt our systems, no submitting false information.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and service are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of every kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or for the acts or omissions of any lender. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

State availability

The service is not available in every state. Lenders determine the states in which they lend.
